Faraway Nantucket Hotel

Fashionable and new-fashioned room with a great view from the window. Great and PERFECT food.

Appreciated its pleasantly furnished rooms.

Location: the hotel was just off the newly " remuddled " Manor House next door and public areas and all the bars. All the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable. There was a lot of food for breakfast, it was good.

Staying at faraway was a delight! The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, close to all the shops and restaurants. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff, especially venise, were really nice too help. The espresso and pastries in the lobby were delicious too!

The restaurant and bar offered beautiful decor and quality food, with a standout Welsh pastry that was good. The attic room in the Manor house was a letdown. It was cramped with a broken bathroom cabinet and dirty sheets that were unacceptable. Noise from other guests and a lack of privacy.

We enjoyed live music at the local theater and checked out the Nantucket Atheneum. The area is convenient, and the light breakfast was a nice touch. Just a heads up, the luggage storage isn't the most secure if you're planning to leave your bags after check-out.

The bike rentals were a disappointment. One had a flat tire, and the other had loose handlebars, which prevented us from exploring the area on two wheels.

The room felt a bit too sparse for the price, with minimal amenities that left me wanting more-an in-room coffee maker and some extra blankets would have made a difference. Check-in time at 4 PM felt overly late, especially when the lobby setup doesn't provide much information. The lack of restaurant service during off-peak days means stocking up on provisions is a must-definitely not ideal for a weekend getaway. I noticed some layout quirks. It might be a tad cramped if you're not used to more intimate spaces.

The outdoor courtyard adorned with vibrant flowers was a peaceful retreat. My spacious Standard King room was beautifully decorated and offered easy access as a senior traveler.

Comfortable room, great location, and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, especially the excellent service at the nearby Sister Ship restaurant and the easy access to cycling around town.

I had a bit of a mixed experience, thankfully the decor was beautiful and the breakfast was simple yet satisfying! Unfortunately, my room was uncomfortable and humid.

We had a lovely anniversary getaway. The location was perfect for exploring quaint shops and charming eateries just a few blocks away. Make sure to enjoy a sunset stroll on the waterfront!
